Stress, especially Chronic Stress, is the cause and strongest trigger for activation of physical and emotional disease. Over time, stress has been linked to high blood pressure, atherosclerosis, lowered immune response, ulcers, GERD, infertility, rheumatoid arthritis, acne, psoriasis, insomnia, anxiety and addictive behavior.
We are all prone to experiencing stress, however, it is possible to consciously identify and avoid situations that cause it and to manage our response to stress in a healthy way when it presents itself.
